irish felt fairy creates wet felted products which are handcrated in Ireland

Wool Felted Fairy

Felted Fairies are handcrafted using the finest merino wool. The fairy is created applying the wet felting technique. Her face is stitched and gives everyone of the fairies a different expression.

The fairy can move her arms and legs, she can sit or stand. The wings are from bird feathers, which are readily available, one just has to look.

The wool used is museling free. So no sheep came to harm.

The fairy is about 27 cm tall. My hand crafted fairy is NOT a toy for small children. She loves to be admired by children sitting on a bookshelf or windowsill. Clothes can NOT be taken off and hair can NOT be brushed.

With care and skills I create my felted little wee fairies .I hand craft every aspect of her myself. Wool is a natural product,it's renwable and no sheep was harmed .The wool I use is a mulesing free product.I also try to reuse and recycle packaging materials. Fairy travels well wraped in tissue paper and corrucated carton.

Of course I take my fairy back if you don't like her. I will give you a full refund( excluding postage) if you change your mind within 5 days.

I'm using my local an post service for sending fairies off to new destinations.

They are very reliable and fairy should arrive in timly manner.

    Care instructions:

Wool is a natural product. It should not be washed. Some colours may fade a little bit over time, especially if the piece is left near a window (sun and moon rays). Wool is a natural product and IFF cannot be made responsible for colour fading.

Also because felt is pure wool you may want to treat the felt every now and again for moths. Moths destroy felt. Such products are easily found in any supermarket. Read instructions carefully.

To refresh the wool, place your piece outside on a misty foggy day for a short while. The damp air will juvenile the felt.

Be aware of your dog or cat, they love the smell of the wool and may damage your it.

Irish Felt Fairy products are NOT suitable for small children, small parts could become lose.
